Jason A. Brown, Vice President

Jason Brown is a vice president at Hermanoff & Associates, where he is responsible for managing and executing corporate and product-focused public relations programs for clients in the retail, financial, real estate and restaurant industries.
While at Hermanoff & Associates, Brown specializes in media relations for B2B and B2C clients, increasing awareness of their leadership and key offerings among targeted audiences. Campaigns have focused on generating influence and awareness within both the business decision maker and consumer arenas.
Prior to joining Hermanoff & Associates, Brown gained considerable experience working at three Detroit-based public relations agencies, where he functioned as a media relations specialist.  He has developed and managed communications programs and projects for leading business and technology companies, such as eBay and Microsoft and also spent significant time working on various General Motors project work.
Brown is extremely connected with local, regional and national media.  Among the highlights of his accomplishments include placing various regionally-based clients in front of the national media spotlight.  Brown has secured national placements in Business Week, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Entrepreneur, Inc. and Fortune Small Business.
Outside of the agency, Brown is an active member of the Detroit Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, Brown has also previously served as a pro-bono media consultant to a local non-profit organization, Forgotten Harvest, which rescues perishable food in Oakland, Wayne and Macomb County.
Brown is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he earned a bachelor of arts in Journalism.  He currently resides in Oak Park, Michigan with his wife Hope, daughter Eliza, and dog, Maddie.
